3306 an inline six cylinder with 121mm (4.75 in) bore and 12mm (6.00
in) stroke, 4 stroke, water cooled, Turbo charged and after cooled
engine with a compression ration of 15:1. These engines are designed to
meet user performance and dependability standards in electric power
generation. 3406 an inline Six cylinder, with 137mm (4.75 in) bore and
165mm (6.00 in) stroke, water cooled, Turbo charged and After cooled
engine with a compression ration of... This generation of 3306 and 3406
series are already proven in the field for about 30 years and Offer
increased customer value through standard features that provide optimum
reliability, performance, fuel efficiency, serviceability and
installation flexibility.
3306 and 3406 Engine are designed to minimize maintenance and repair
costs. Reduced service points simplified maintenance procedures and
accessibility for repair are efficienced designed into these engines.
Meets with emission limits prescribed for new diesel engines (upto 800
kW) for generator set (gensets) applications, under notification No.
GSR 371 (E) dt. 17.05.2002, No GSR (E) dt.01.07.03 & No. GSR 448
(E) dt. 12.07.2004 notified by Ministry of Environment and forests,
Government of India.
